Across New York, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Utica is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Utica is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Sad to say itβs a very poorly run facility. Administration has no idea what goes on and when confronted with issues respond with β then go somewhere elseβ.Maybe the βnew masonsβ can help. For all current and future residents I hope the new group of overseers get a handle on the staff and care. Itβs clean and βlooksβ fabulous until you are a resident. Understaffed, CNAs on day shift are fabulous and work hard, evening staff majority spend on their phones and have attitudes, nights there are no CNAs and maybe one LPN covering 3 households to pass medication. Medical care is limited, and not experienced in gerontology, dementia, and end of life care. No physician available majority of the time so they use virtual people from somewhere to make medical decisions after 4pm, then if medication is needed itβs not available as new pharmacy issuesβ¦ If you must place a family member there, Iβd recommend you visit daily, have constant over-site of medication, put everything in writing and ask for proof in writing. Nothing is as it βseemsβ. Grateful to not have to interact with incompetent people and that my father is no longer there.

This review is only in relation to grounds keeping and getting to identigo. The campus plows had no regard for traffic. Snow was plowed over the sign for where I had to Go makingng me late. Then, no one was available to let me (for which there is no signage stating someone has to let you in. Also, no phone number to contact someone). I stood in the breezeway until someone happened by. I hope the rest of this place is run better, for the sake of you and/or your relatives.

I highly recommend taken your loved ones here to get the care they deserve. The staff was thoughtful and caring. They've taken such wonderful care of my uncle for several years until the Lord God brought him home recently. The grounds are beautiful with lovely landscapes and statutes to walk around. The view in his room was beautiful looking out his window, you always new what season it was by that. I should have taken it on another day, but through the blinds you could see. The only complaint we had was his electronic photos, someone had taken the wire from it, inwhich the staff was certain it was another resident, but it's not certain where it went. Above all he received the greatest care.

There is not enough help. My father is being neglected and got an infection because of it. We have tried to address the issue many many times to no avail. My father is a 63 year member of the Mason's and thought he would be taken care of. We are paying over $13,000 a month. This is unacceptable.

Whoever did Fingerprinting on 9/10 around 2 has an attitude problem. I already waited over an hour (really not a problem) but when getting my picture done he kept huffing and puffing telling me to sit up straight when the real problem was I was out of frame, he even rolled his eyes at me. Another person who was also getting their fingerprints had to come in and move the chair and fix the actual issue.
